Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathies (DPN) are chronic debilitating complications following Diabetes mellitus. DPN refers to signs and symptoms of peripheral nerve dysfunction in a patient with mellitus (DM) whom other causes neuropathies have been excluded. The incidence neuropathy is strongly associated microvascular comorbidities. In Ayurveda, Prameha one Ashtamahagada, which will finally transform into Madhumeha without proper management. As there no direct reference for diagnosing it essential understand the causation association based on Tridoshas Pradhana Vyadhi (main disease) as well Upadrava (complications). After analyzing both many similarities were found respect Nidana (etiology), Samprapti (pathology), Lakshana (symptoms). Continuing even after leads its Upadrava. features such Kara pada daha (burning sensation hand foot), Pipeelika sancharamiva (tingling sensation), Swapa/ Supthi (numbness), Sosha (wasting), Angasada (weakness) seen either prodromal stage or actual exhibition complication can be correlated DPN. prevalence also duration diabetes glycemic control. Features Avaranajanya Dhatukshaya differentiated correctly diagnosed selection treatment. Hence an attempt made review differential diagnosis factors like etiopathology Ayurveda.
